You can order bulk mulch in half-yard minimums, or buy bagged mulch in 40-pound and 2-cubic-foot bags. Our mulch is double shredded and we also have triple ground available. The mulch comes in natural color or dyed brown, black or red. Plus we have special playground mulch. So whether you just need couple bags or thousands of yards of mulch, we can provide it all!

BLACK DYED MULCH

Black dyed is a double ground hardwood bark mulch that is dyed black. It is a solid choice for weed control around your home with a darker color than our plain bark mulch. 

BROWN DYED

Brown dyed is a double ground hardwood bark mulch that is dyed brown. It is a solid choice for weed control around your home with a darker, longer lasting, color than our plain bark mulch. 

Certified Playground mulch

Our playground mulch is IPEMA certified to ensure a safe environment for children. We provide playground mulch to schools throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, as well as to homeowners.


Our Playground Mulch is:

The playground mulch is made from 100-percent wood chips and wood fiber; no pallet wood is used. It has a natural blonde color with no dyes.

These are our largest stones, which range in size from as small as an egg to bigger than your fist. You’ll find a mix of colors ranging from grays to browns to reds that gives it a natural riverbed look. Ideal for large landscaping projects.

More uniform in size, these are golf ball-sized stones and the shapes vary from oval to flat to sphere. Easy to work with, #4 wash gravel enhances your landscaping and helps eliminate the need for weeding.

  • How much mulch do I need for my landscaping project?

    Please refer to the information below to make your calculation and determine the amount of mulch you'll need


    To find the sq. ft. of the area you want to mulch, and determine how thick you want the mulch to be:


    Example:

    Area = 9ft x 30ft = 270sq. ft.


    Then determine how thick you'd like the coverage to be. For example, if I want a 3" coverage on my 270sq. ft., I would divide 270 by the square footage listed below (108), which then shows I will need 2.5 yards.

    • 1" thick covers 324 sq. ft.
    • 2" thick covers 162 sq. ft
    • 3" thick covers 108 sq. ft.
    • 4" thick covers 81 sq. ft.
    • 5" thick covers 64.8 sq. ft.
